Love how he states he can just go on base to get his meds

Like what 99% of the population did not retire from the military…

I would say it is a FYGM attitude but he would tell me he did not say that

Or that Tricare's overhead for prescriptions increased by about 1 billion dollars over the last year, threatening our benefits.

It's pretty gross that the president and his cronies think the property of the US people is their personal property to do with as they want.

Those sources say that earlier this year, the State Department contacted the Eisenhower Library to ask for the item—a sword of Eisenhower’s1 that belongs to the U.S. government—for Trump to give to the king, and Arrington declined; under federal law and agency regulations, he could not provide it. According to sources, that upset Byron, who, they say, began to look for an opportunity to remove Arrington.

Weird how an ever increasing amount of Americans view the administration as corrupt.

Or that every other taxpayer is funding his healthcare while dealing with ever increasing premiums, copays, and deductibles.
yeah. pcgeek is just a completely unaware selfish prick that really likes pedophiles and fascists. he also thinks he's a patriot and probably thinks he deserves respect for "his service" whatever the fuck that was. I think that voting for fascists and pedophiles to lead us and destroy the country, as they very loudly promised to do, erases any claim you should ever have for respect.

It's hilarious how many MAGAs are bitching about the new PTA movie, One Battle After Another. They all seem to think he wrote it based on Trump, his cabinet & ICE since getting re-elected. Paul wrote it like 20 years ago, and they shot the movie before Trump had even been re-elected. The main villain's a racist shitbag and the ICE like agents are all shitbags too. It's pretty telling the MAGAs think this all about Trump and ICE lol. The movie is AMAZING, like holy shit good. And it seems every single Trump cult member's a mega snowflake over it and they're calling it the worst movie ever made. Pretty sure they're all gonna stop watching any movie from Dicaprio, Penn or anyone else in the movie. Well, most of the rest of the cast is black and Mexican so they wouldn't support them regardless lol. They definitely won't ever be watching another "woke" PTA movie again.

I watched it for the 3rd time yesterday, during 1 especially racist back and forth between 2 whites dudes, a guy in the theater said "they're definitely both MAGA" like 20 people busted out laughing and someone who must have been a MAGA yelled super loud "shut the fuck up!"

It is kind of wild how a 20 year old script does such a shockingly great job of mimicking what's happening in this country right now. If this movie had came out 20 years ago, it would have been near sci-fi. But even if exaggerated, it's pretty accurate for today. It's also interesting how a movie that's completly fictional is making right wingers so angry. Yeah it makes them all look like racist dipshits, but it's an action movie. Anyone who gets triggered over a fictional movie needs to get out more.
They don't like being shown a mirror, you see the same thing with Greenie here, about the only time he swears at someone is when he accidentally gets a glimpse of himself.

While I dislike a lot of the things he sez - we have to admit pragmatically that many people; particularly rural or less educated people are mostly concern about how things impact them today. They don't care so much about the big picture or the future or more important the future for anyone but perhaps their relatively short future.

Now for my view on the matter:

A country with healthy people is cheaper and better in the long run for all members of that country (this has been shown in europe); medical cost are lower productivity is higher and people are happier so there is less crime and other negatives.

The issue of paying for the upfront cost of a healthy country is taxes. What we see this administration is doing - is cutting taxes (you might say yea!! but it mostly only benefits the very rich not the middle and very poor) and hten increasing cost on the middle to pay for health. This makes for a less healthy country (not abstractly but in terms of physical and mental health) which long term will lead to higher medical cost, less producitivity and people who are more grumpy and commit more mistakes and crimes.

Trump talks about tariff being required to pay down the deficit but what he is really saying is we need a tax on the middle and poor to cover my tax breaks to the rich. After all it is the middle and poor who eats most of the cost of the tariff.

As ever, the cruelty is the point. VA doctors can no longer even write referrals for trans patients seeking care at their own expense outside of the government healthcare system.

@pcgeek11 is this how you want the VA to treat vets?

What's your monthly cost for prescriptions once you add in the cost for "excellent" insurance?

Tricare for life. Zero Cost...

For those that can't follow a thread conversation, or are purposely avoiding the context of that thread conversation.

Dank69 asked me:

I replied:

There are no premiums that I pay for Tricare for Life.

Um, co-pays would count. So unless all your medications are 100% generic, you're paying co-pays of at LEAST $20 a script for name brand.

I already stated that I pay a co-pay on one drug I take that is a non-formulary drug and cost me 53 dollars a month.

Note: I don't eat a handful of medications every day like some do. I have two prescriptions I take...
