Someone with no background in science or medicine is telling journals what they can and can't published.

It's what happens when Trump, hellbent on his revenge tour, appoints cabinet sycophants whose mission is to fuck things up as much as possible to get even with people of whom with little or no effort exposed him out to be the blubbering moronic idiot who commits crimes at will, all while expecting to get away with it but instead gets indicted, arrested, hauled off to court and convicted by his peers. Trump absolutely hates it when his skivvies gets pulled down around his alleged bone spurred heels, showing the world how he consistently craps himself into trouble.

And here I thought the passing of the Neanderthals was complete, but now I see Trump and his oligarch handlers have somehow managed to convince millions of Americans that riding themselves along the road to extinction by devolving themselves from being free independent minded individuals into a mindless obedient mob riding in a clown car solely dependent on a narcissistic emotionally deranged monkey who just so happens to be their cockeyed dizzy driver.
Just watched Idiocracy for the first time a couple nights ago. Amazing it was made in 2005. Mike Judge kinda saw Trump coming.

He’s going to address homelessness? Considering it’s an issue for almost every state, I wonder how he’s going to tackle it? Just lock up the homeless? Deport them to a foreign country? Put them in Guantanamo? I’m sure whatever it is it’ll be legal. /s
It's just rhetoric.

Except Camacho was a great president. He was stupid, and he knew he was stupid. He found someone smart(through testing) that he thought could fix all their problems, and snatched him up. No comparison. I'd give my left nut, and maybe even my right one to have him instead of the dumbfuck we have.

rfkjr wrote an opinion piece with that article that I won't link to.
It's considered a trash website that anyone with an account can submit an opinion piece.
"A few things stand out to me. First is that anyone with an account approved by them can submit an article. So it's basically a large crowd sourced blog, not really news or reporting per se."

brain-worm-guy is just looking to get his anti-vaccine views out there. No legit science news company would give him a platform
to spout his horseshit.

It's essentially why Nature magazine told him to fuck himself.

Why is Russell Voight able to maintain such a relatively low profile compared to other administration bad actors like RFK jr, Stephan Miller, Blondi, Noem, etc?

I am looking forward to listening tonight to Marc Maron as a guest on Pod Save America where he calls Voight out as the little weasel behind Trump’s Wizard of Oz act.

Catch them and release them into their country of origin.
I realize I'm just a feeble-brained profanity user, but maybe you can explain to me the reasoning behind "catching" someone who is here to apply for asylum (which they must be physically present to do) and then sending them back to the country they are from?
To assist, I will provide a brief refresher:
asylum, in international law, the protection granted by a state to a foreign citizen against his own state
I guess it is a lot more convenient from your perspective if they just have the courtesy to be imprisoned or killed in their country of origin.

And then tried to execute him with a monster truck.

But those people are just fleeing countries destabilized by the CIA and coming here to work hard and give themselves a better life. They're not real asylum seekers like the ones from South Africa.

Enter via a port of entry be evaluated and if deemed they have a case give them asylum. If not they go home.

A port of entry is not out in the middle of no where when you cross the river and break through the wire barrier.

A U.S. port of entry (POE) is a location officially designated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) where individuals and goods can lawfully enter the country, such as international airports, land border crossings, and seaports. These facilities are staffed by CBP officers who enforce U.S. immigration, customs, and agricultural laws, inspecting passports, visas, and cargo to ensure compliance.

Never mind. Ive said what I wanted to say anything else just bounces around the echo chamber.

I have already posted the rules

And what you are saying what people should do are in direct conflict of what the law states.

But let’s take one step back. Is there

processing centers at every point of entry?
During their processing of their asylum application is there a place for them to stay?

The only reason Pritzker makes this statement publicly is because he's getting out in front of what he KNOWS is coming. Troops in Chicago. Less than a month from now.
OpenBut expected, religious people regularly excuse terrible behavior as they feel justified in it.

The Pentagon has for weeks been planning a military deployment to Chicago as President Donald Trump says he wants to crack down on crime, homelessness and undocumented immigration, in a model that could later be used in other major cities, officials familiar with the matter said.

The planning, which has not been previously disclosed, involves several options, including mobilizing at least a few thousand members of the National Guard as soon as September to what is the third most populous city in the United States.

hmm, well that's not great
FUUUUUUCK!

Several months ago my wife booked a couple grand worth of SOAD concert tickets and hotel reservations in Chicago for my birthday this weekend.

I'd really like to avoid any drama up there this weekend.

Why is it that Gavin Newsom is the only democrat willing to play by republican rules? I hope he runs for president.
He's not the only Democrat willing to fight back. But he's one of a few who runs a large state with armed forces, so that makes him inherently more intimidating than some random Mayor or City Councilman.

I'm not personally a fan of Newsom's political ideology but I'll support anyone who fights fascism. I'll take what I can get.
Your skull is the echo chamber that allows no new thoughts to penetrate.
Fascist collaborators attempting to "just following orders" away fascism are an absolute waste of oxygen. They literally voted for an Epstein client. Since they support pedophilia, they'll definitely support destroying the US Constitution at every turn, if it also means they can continue lying to themselves that they aren't a waste of oxygen. It's a vicious cycle.
