Once tariffs bite harder and his admin cancels hundreds of wind/solar projects causing utility rates to surge as datacenter demand soars people are going to be way less happy than they are now.

He's pressing all the "make economy bad" buttons and bragging about it. With the median voter being particularly stupid when it comes to anything economy related, the incumbent party is going to be slaughtered.

Everything this admin does is all stick all the time. They don't even know what a carrot looks like. The probability that voters are going to be incandescently pissed next year at the incumbents seems pretty high.

Of all the wild shit that's come out from his cabinet since he got re-elected. This is one of the most diabolical to use an overused internet word. I know 7 year olds who have a better grasp on history than him. If this actually happens, and a lot of shit there does get altered to fit his version of history. They might as well reopen it as a Spencers because it'll be full of bullshit. And I guess this means black history will no longer exist, and they'll have a new big beautiful exhibit dedicated to the airfields from the Civil War. That's one part of history the Smithsonian shockingly doesn't cover.

Trump and history make about as much sense as RFKJ being the Secretary of Health. I can't imagine what this administration will bring next.

Just watched some NBC coverage of the summit. The word is nothing happened, Trump's going home without the cease fire he intended to get. No questions from press were answered whatsoever. It's just what I predicted, everyone will forget about it in 2 weeks is what I said. I revise that now to a week.

Oh a lot happened alright, just not anything in the US or Ukraine’s interest.

Trump literally rolled out the red carpet for a war criminal. I’m guessing Putin sees Trump as Americas Gorbachev. What a complete and utter tool.

Other than Putin playing with his puppet, nothing will come of this in any positive way.

And his supporters weaponised the term "politically correct" against the left (against liberals, even)! Apparently, enforcing "ideological properness" is just fine. If only the liberals had thought of that.

Trump threatened Putin with massive sanctions last week if he didn't agree to a ceasefire. Putin at the microphone today talked about possible joint ventures with the USA coming out of this, IOW the opposite of sanctions. Therefore he was able to short circuit the sanctions narrative by talking "optimistically" about cooperation. Trump didn't know he was being played. Par for his course, where he's famously a cheater. Absolutely no details of agreements were presented or hinted at. Nothing will come of this except more bloodshed. Phony Trump framed himself with his trademark smirk. TACO, baby. Trump is a useless tool except for oligarchs.
