Shit bill lost some kernels of corn but still shit. Betting house conservatives mostly cave based on past experience.
It's almost like they don't think they will have to worry about being elected next term, because there won't be any election.

Green energy excise tax is out. Tax credit phase out is more gentle.

Medicaid cut delay for high poverty states.

Ban on gender affirming care out.

Medicaid penalty for states who use their own money for migrant care out.

SNAP cuts delayed for some states.

Lemme guess blue states

Thanks for the tax cut I guess Trump voters. When the new brackets first passed in 2017 five years into my career it was a measly few grand annually for me but now they will pay my mortgage and more vs reverting to the previous rates.

Only had to further sacrifice the nation’s fiscal health to get here but hey free house! Fell for it again awards all around for all the very concerned “fiscal conservatives”

Murkowski is a clown. "The bill is bad and it shouldn't pass in its current form, but I voted to send it to the house anyway. I'm just a smol bean senator with no power."

She is the C-word. Simple as that.

A number of people in the know seem to think many rural public hospitals on the edge will go under quickly as credit is withdrawn. Once a hospital closes it is very unlikely to ever reopen. States will have to triage what they can do with their own funds and that’s going to be support urban hospitals that care for large numbers of patients.

All has to do with the % population served that is reliant on medicaid. Rural poor areas will get fucking nuked.

Congrats red states, you voted for this.

edit:
Even the ones that are part of larger "systems" will be closed as those corps won't want to be hemorrhaging $$$ to take care of Cletus and his kinfolk.

I appreciate the change in the SALT tax limit increase but overall I would rather have focused on getting our nations fiscal health in order.

All public hospitals are going to get hurt. Urban hospitals rely on Medicaid as much as any rural hospital.

What will be fine are private hospitals.

This is all as designed.

Same as with vaccines. The oligarchs and their descendents will all be fully vaccinated. The serfs that work their land, not so much.

Oligarchs want to be the founding member of an Aristocracy, and this is just one more step down that path.

I think I know what some states will do with that money.

I'm sure you're aware this is just the first shoe. Major cuts to SS retirement benefits and Medicare are off in the distance, but that distance is closing on us rapidly.

Holy Fuck! ... that presser and visit to DeSantis prison camps was BONKERS! let's see ...

Trump talks about arresting Mayorkas and Mamdani
Trump trashes "son of a bitch" Biden for wanting him "locked up"
Wants to use National Guard soldiers as immigration judges.
He’s open to importing crocodiles from other countries and placing them into the Rio Grande
Noem told some story about a detained illegal migrant who was allegedly a cannibal who tried eating himself after his arrest.

WTF! Welcome to Jackass, this is the "Let's All Wear Trucker Hats" Government Challenge. I'm surprised JD Vance wasn't there wearing a giant alligator costume.

I cannot believe that Noem told that cannibal story in front of a crowd with a straight face. Although all that Botox helps to keep it straight

When deportation isn't good enough, and you're giddy about the thought of humans being eaten by alligators, the problem really isn't with immigration. It’s hard to believe these fucking nut cases are in power. What's next? ...a moat filled with sharks with laser beams on their heads. We are now living in the stupidest of times. Donald Trump and the Neanderthal Era.

I wonder how our Founding Fathers thought about shoving people into prison camps because they weren't born here?

Oh ... And Biden was RIGHT! Trump is a convicted felon and should be locked up!

Not for nothing but if I was Elon and I really wanted to make trouble it is waaaay easier to buy a few House reps than a few Senators. Food for thought.

Most sociopaths can be charismatic, which is much of the reason why some people can't confront that they are also evil, and they hold no regard for other human life. he casually and charmingly jokes about people being eaten by alligators

In a sane world, this delusional old man would have the car keys taken away from him and locked up

Elon is genuially pissed at Trump, he knows a lot and he has $$$$$$. Will be interesting to see where this goes, at this point, he's all but declared war on Trump. And with all his connections, cash and the secrets I'm sure he knows, he could really do some damage if he decides to. I'm sure he's worried about Trump retaliating, but I think he's close to snapping. And Trump has proven he doesn't knows when to shut the fuck up, so we might see Elon go Kamakazi mode on Trump soon.

I'm all for Musk crashing out on Trump.

Trump at his "Alligator Auschwitz" prison camp:

"I'd like to say, you know, a little controversial, but I couldn't care less. We have a lot of bad criminals that came into the, into this country and they came in stupidly." "And it did happen, but we also have a lot of bad people that have been here for a long time," People that whack people over the head with a baseball bat from behind when they're not looking and kill them." "Many of them were born in our country. I think we ought to get them the hell out of here, too, if you want to know the truth. So maybe that'll be the next job that we'll work on together."

You first felon ...You and your entire anchor baby family ...

This has got to be at least the 10th time I've heard Trump use this same stupid fucking story about "People that whack people over the head with a baseball bat from behind when they're not looking and kill them." He's like a stuck record. Is he talking about the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and 3%ers and the Jan six insurrectionists that whacked police over the head that he brazenly pardoned. All clearly homegrown terrorists. I live in South Florida. Lots of immigrants here. Nobody is whacking anyone with baseball bats from behind.

It seems anyone who criticizes Trump and members of his regime could become targets... Trump has tasked Palantir to create a database linking all American's personal data, which includes their social media posts... like the ones on here for one example.

And ... Where exactly does Trump think he's going to deport US born citizens to? Thier home state? He's lost his fucking mind. Looks like Grandpa is losing the few marbles he had left. 🎵His brain is squirming like a toad.🎵

Trump is currently the biggest criminal in this country.
