There's some serious irony that the main part of our Independence Day celebration relies on items coming from China. And the MAGAts who go firework less because of this will still proudly claim China needs us way more than we need them.

Just have to hope the current administration are as obsessive about their record keeping as were the Germans in the 30's and 40's. Unfortunately that was probably a peculiarly German trait.

well pretty much only the US doesn't recognize May 8th as the end of the war and we just call it VE day. It's a big holiday in all of Europe, though.

May 8th 1945 has effectively become the founding day of all of Russian history now, according to the mafia that runs that state and the propaganda that has been forced onto Russians for decades.
