I know Trump's an idiot, but maybe I'm the dumb one, at one point was the Panama Canal was ours and we lost it in a war I don't remember ever hearing about? How the fuck do you "reclaim" something that was never yours to begin with?

re·claim
/rəˈklām/

verb
  1. 1.
    retrieve or recover (something previously lost, given, or paid);

I think the word he was looking for was "steal" The randomness of him wanting to basically conquer shit, like this and Greenland is truly baffling. At this point he's just doing shit to do shit.

They want another Vietnam, no? They are desperately wanting a new brand defeat if going like that.
Vietnam was fought over there.
With drone warfare... it is fought over there, on the ocean between, and ultimately HERE at home.
Millions of drones can be produced /year and EACH one can find a piece of critical infrastructure to destroy.
It's not just each transformer sub station. Which would take years to replace. Every single high power tension line / tower can receive a gift to. Then there are natural gas tank farms.
The United States is EXTREMELY exposed and vulnerable to modern warfare.

FAFO has never been more true.

You missed the whole “built with American blood and treasure” argument during the SoTU didn’t you? The sovereignty of the land and water underneath doesn’t matter if America builds it. We’re playing catchup to the Chinese in that regard, but see Gaza in 2035.

Even more, if they want to take Panama, they CAN'T damage the canal, but knowing their people from Panama, they migth even sabotage it. And even the US people can damage it without knowing it. It might end into a failure.

they wiring that shit up as we speak. lol

Yep, that canal becomes a raging river the instant the first shot is fired upon it!! The operators know every square meter of that place and where the most damage could be done.

Should read to get a list of the things the Trump administration is trying to control @ a national recognized university:

Rather outrageous

Where are all those organization to denounce the alarming violation of human rights and persecution?
They really exist only for some (brown) countries.

Just another self admitted criminal pardoned. Drain the swamp!

Kelsey said on social media after his release Tuesday that he believed “God used Donald Trump to save me from the weaponized Biden DOJ.”

Doesn't sound as if he's the slightest bit contrite or is even acknowledging he was guilty of a crime. (I thought people here said accepting a pardon required admitting guilt?)

The pardon power seems ludicrously over-powered - a means of ensuring 'your team' is simply not subject to any laws.

He plead guilty, for whatever thats worth. Hes just doing the same thing as dear leader, call everything a witch hunt, deny, blame others….

Even the Daily Mail seems unable to explain why Bhutan is on Trump's hit-list. And how many North Korean or Afghan tourists does the US actually get?

Usually its follow the money, or i guess crypto now. The global shakedown in action.

A patten is emerging of seemingly random detentions happening at the borders where green card and visa holders are getting tortured or even deported without any known cause. Foreign nations should probably consider travel advisories against visiting the US.

One such example:

https://www.nhpr.org/nh-news/2025-0...pshire-interrogated-at-logan-airport-detained

A New Hampshire man with a green card was detained by immigration officers at Logan Airport and is being held by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Donald W. Wyatt detention facility in Central Falls, Rhode Island.

Fabian Schmidt’s family said they are unsure of why he is being held. They said he has a recently renewed green card, and no active issues in court.

Schmidt had been visiting Luxembourg and flew back to the U.S. on Friday. His partner had gone to pick him up at Logan Airport, and waited four hours before calling authorities.

“It was just said that his green card was flagged,” said Astrid Senior, his mother. She said she didn’t hear from her son directly until Tuesday, when she learned he’d been hospitalized.

Senior described Schmidt being “violently interrogated” at Logan Airport for hours, and being stripped naked, put in a cold shower by two officials, and being put back onto a chair.

She said Schmidt told her immigration agents pressured him to give up his green card. She said he was placed on a mat in a bright room with other people at the airport, with little food or water, suffered sleep deprivation, and was denied access to his medication for anxiety and depression.

“He hardly got anything to drink. And then he wasn’t feeling very well and he collapsed,” said Senior.

He was transported by ambulance to Mass General Hospital. He didn’t know it at the time, but he also had influenza.

The canal is also a fixed thing with fixed infrastructure, and it would be pretty useless if it can't be used safely. I image that it wouldn't be hard to sabotage parts of it, or just subject the canal to artillery fire.

They're latching onto the flimsiest excuses to detain people, and it's all extremely gross.
