Yeah, democracy sucks, but it's still better than any other means of government. Even so, it just seems the boat is going down.
I think the courts are our best hope. Well, maybe congress will grow some balls. And there's mass protest. Strikes. Even sabotage. And maybe the media will find a way to push back. There's also the potential for crises (predictable and otherwise) to derail Project 25.
The assault on foreign aid by Musk and Trump has to be rankling people of conscience. As usual there's little that Trump does that doesn't strike me as horrible. How he got elected mystifies me still.
