Maybe, but they're really stupid, thinking their tiny sliver of understanding of one thing is translateable to other things. Real Dunning-Kruger in action. Trump scuttled a very hard right version of an immigration bill. They got a ton of what they claimed to want.

Personally, we should be liberalizing our immigration. The legal immigration process is a disaster that is difficult for many to navigate. I welcome people that want to come to my country, enrich us with their perspectives, and help us solve our problems and build communities together.
