No EV here (largely due to the logistics of a city apartment life), but I am extremely glad I have a gas-sipping hybrid sedan.

In the 3.5 years since we bought it, I can think of a single time I maybe wished I had something bigger: carrying a basic bed frame + deconstructed foundation to donate, and carrying a bike sans bike rack, and both times I found ways to do it safely (first one, seats folded down and front passenger seat pulled up; second one, with the front wheel out the trunk and bungied the trunk shut - it was going <1 mile across town for a repair). But I'm not an idiot, and not going to spend an extra $5-$10k+ because of an extremely rare use case.
 
We moved from an all electric to hybrid.....i think a tank of gas lasts well over a month now

/i would have stayed all electric but was not all my decision
