Trump has nothing to do with certifying elections and states will ignore this.

Same as with that silly SAVE act. It’s going nowhere.

I think the point that poster is making is that they (Trump and his proxies in Congress) are always doing things that lie outside their official powers/capabilities and those actions don't get any real push back until sometime far later after the damage is already done and things have already moved way past the point where it matters.

There's definitely a fairly high probability that they try some shenanigans to ignore/disallow any outcome in '26 that they don't like. And the newly leaked EO is 100% proof of that.

Issue is that it likely end into a Secesion War scenario, the worst for the US. And Trump is speedrunning the way of no return

Trump administration in action to make america safer:

---
Key bits:
"The report found that Noem’s reversal of the decades-old policy had “inadvertently created a new security vulnerability in the system.”"
==
"When Noem’s office was informed of the findings, it reportedly didn’t take action to remedy it. Instead, the office prohibited it from being published and increased its level of classification"

When creating security risks it is best to hide the evidence rather than fix the issue.

and of course

"White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that President Donald Trump retains total confidence in Noem."

....

Yep - as expected Trump - the worse of the worse naturally tries to find people worse than himself for his administration.

I figure he only has cabinet people that he has blackmailable material on. Remember, he's a conniving criminal with 34 counts of fraud adjudicated by a jury of his peers..

There really isn’t a non-coup mechanism to do this so it doesn’t matter much.

The FBI’s joint terrorism taskforce has been called in to help investigate a deadly mass shooting in downtown Austin, Texas, on Sunday morning in which a gunman opened fire in front of a bar popular with university students, killing two people and injuring 14 others before being fatally shot by police.
Hopefully Kash isn't using the planes this weekend to chase his country singer girlfriend so that real professionals can do their jobs at the FBI.

On Trumps "malignant" narcissistic personality disorder...

Narcissistic personality disorder is a condition recognized in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association. The manual lists nine "diagnostic criteria" and 50 related "diagnostic features." A person exhibiting five of the nine criteria is said to meet the diagnosis. Trump checks every box.

If you’re reluctant to label Trump, turn to page 760 of the manual — it’s available online — and ponder the listed criteria. The terms all apply to him: "pattern of grandiosity," "fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance," "lacks empathy," "requires excessive admiration." But they fail to capture the magnitude of his disorder. It's what earns his narcissism the modifier "malignant."

Trump needs attention like Dracula needs blood, and the Israel-Iran war, in which the U.S. has now become an active participant, struck at the worst possible time in his feeding cycle...

I can just see it now:

Trump: "We gave the Iranian every chance to unconditionally surrender and when they refused we were forced to drop several nukes on them; but never fear we now have ever lasting peace in the middle east."
