Voters are part of the problem, and another big part is a shitty opposition party, whose entire responsibility and duty is to oppose well, and part of that is by being able to connect with voters and be able to fight and expose the other side. I know I'm right about the Dem party and trying to get left of center folks and try to fix this party that has failed us so terribly, and is so utterly corrupt and wrong for average Americans, and helped these evil people get power, and keep it.

All my real life circle are left of center, and the majority are very politically literate. And a good chunk are also above average intelligence. And the vast majority see what I see about the system and the Dems role in it. In fact, I used to defend the Dem establishment to some of them years ago before I saw how shitty this party really is at its core. I was defending some of the Dem establishment! I was wrong. But it's become so easy to see, especially the last few years.

To wake up left of center folks to try to fight the rot of this party at every step we can in order to fight fascism as best we can is one of the most important things we can do today politically. We can't make the other party less evil, but those of us who actively vote and in primaries especially, owe it to everyone suffering today to fix the broken opposition.

What makes you think I want to change his mind? That is your mistake.

He is way too far gone down his delusional rabbit hole to have his mind changed - aka why I call him a cultist. You can't change cultist's minds. He is a goner - so no, I have no illusion or interest in changing him at all.

Ya know what's funny? I live in the Los Angeles area. I NEVER see or hear this on a day to day basis. It just is NOT a thing except inside conservative echo chambers. Do people complain about being misgendered? Sure. I have only seen it on the internet and ONLY when a conservacult MAGA person shows it to me. Otherwise, it just is NOT a thing a person will witness in their day to day lives. I've even accidentally misgendered a few people in the last few years. No melt down, no issues. Just an honest mistake and they were gracious about it.

For years, I did the CA AIDS charity ride from SF to LA. Surrounded by over 3000 people from the LGTBQ community. NONE of them where like the extreme examples thrown in the faces of conservative echo chambers on a daily basis.

The entire thing is a joke. Canada paid to build the bridge (not usa); the land on both side of the bridge is Canadian - what the fuck is trump whining about. If he wanted them to use more american material then he should have fucking paid to build the bridge and had it placed on american land.
