In 1976, it was the National Park Service that led the federal bicentennial commemoration efforts. You know, the agency Trump gutted? I could not imagine a more different national mood between 1976 and now. In 1976, it was a celebration of freedom. Now, it's jackbooted Nazis roaming the street.

Anecdotally I don't really know anybody who isn't worried about their job and lets just say the economic vibes from that do not accrue to the favor of the party in power.

President Trump said he looks forward to meeting with Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado next week, adding that it would be a “great honor” to receive her Nobel Peace Prize.

Machado told Fox News host Sean Hannity on his show earlier this week that she would like to give her Nobel Peace Prize, which she won earlier the year, to Trump.

Trump, who has repeatedly suggested he should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, told Hannity on Thursday he’d be pleased to accept it from her.

“I’ve stopped eight wars,” Trump said. “I think it’s been a major embarrassment to Norway. Now, I don’t know what Norway has to do with it but that’s where the committee is located, a lot of Norwegian people.” ...

This admin has already explicitly spoken of the use of military force.
Their idea of influence is for the United States to be the Nazi Germany of the Americas. Trump is to the Americas as Hitler was to Europe. Although, if I am being honest, it's not going to be him. Another Republican will happily take up the mantle when things really get going.

A MAGA dipshit was defending Trump raising the retirement age, their logic to me "yeah, but it only applies to people born after 1960, so it's not like it's gonna be everyone." I asked if they understood anyone born before 1960 was already of retirement age. I'm a mellow person, but any conversation I have with any of his cult seems to piss me the fuck off. Every single one of them is dumb.

I guess with their thinking, Trump could have made it so recently retired people had to return to the workforce for a few years? LOL
