The soft power gained by USAID will take a while to get back. What's weird is, mobsters are usually good at understanding that doing things to help out your neighbors gains you a ton of influence and good will. Guess he sucks at that too.

One of his narcissistic obsessions is loyalty.
A creed that anyone who does not bow must be disposed of.
Look at how he treats his servants once he is done with them.

He wants that power extended to extrajudicial killings.

Anyways, got distracted upon learning America military forces actually invaded Mexico....

What I really visited this topic for, was to elaborate on the fallout of the Big Beautiful Bill.
You see, Trump made a move against Nursing. Because, you know, there's no shortage of nurses or anything.
Healthcare is going to be REAL freaking rationed in a few years.

Department of Education says nursing is no longer a professional degree. See how it affects student loans​

According to the Association of American Universities, Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill," which was signed in July of this year, imposes a lifetime cap of $100,000 in borrowing for graduate students and $200,000 for professional students. ​
Under the new rules, graduate students can borrow up to $20,500 a year, and professional students can borrow up to $50,000 a year. Starting July 1, 2026, the law will also end Grad PLUS loans — the program many students have relied on to cover education costs not covered by other financial aid.​

Nurses make no where near the money doctors and lawyers make. Paying back up to $200k would be financially crippling. That said, the answer isn't higher loan limits, the answer is for states and the feds to re-engage on funding higher education with more grants and fewer or no loans.

He's so admiring of people who get away with extrajudicial killings if you had noticed, MBS just being the latest for him to lavish praise on. He's really, really jealous.

Another Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan all rolled into one ugly hot mess because some authoritarian needed a distractive war to rally the people around himself, to paint himself over as the heroic conqueror warring against his cooked up enemy at our doorstep, threatening his authoritarianism and the purity of the blood of His America.

Trump’s contemplated Venezuelan adventure is bizarre in that Trump isn’t even bothering to try to sell it to the public or Congress. He doesn’t have the respect for the public to even tell us lies.

Trump sees himself as the emperor, the highest authority in the nation that has brought the other branches of gov't to heel, to not question the edicts (EO's) that he so casually prints by the reams-full because there's no one to stop him from being that way. His narcissism and his megalomania work hand in hand to assure himself that he's always right just because he says so. I'm wondering why he even bothers to give a minute or even a second of time responding to his critics to justify his lunacy, other than to garner for himself the overly dramatic accolades, fake smiles and nods of approval he gets from his cabinet of sycophant stooges and the world's other leaders that know how to play him like a fiddle.
