However, I will respond with the following. Is the Trump revocation going to lower prices or likely raise them? Did Trump do it to help the public or spite against Biden.

I think he mostly did it to spite Biden, same as he did to Obama.

The Legislation and the EO did lower drug prices but they were no where near done with price negotiations under the EO. They only completed the first 10 drugs back in August. So it was the beginning of a process to negotiate lower prices for Medicare.

Yes, it’s the old “The US is getting ripped off!” thing, because he personally sees no value in being the leading member of a world-wide organization that doesn’t make money, it just prevents major health catastrophes. If there’s no immediate, monetary benefit to the US, he values it as ZERO!. The US is the largest supporter of WHO, and to Trump that makes us "suckers". WHO did take into account infromation from China regarding aspects of how Covid happened. That makes them LOSERS! Plus, they had the gall to disagree with him on COVID, making him look bad. You know that ’deserves a paddlin’.

Or rather, since the WHO didn’t align with the right’s world view during COVID, they’re now just as untrustworthy as the scientists who inform them. So this may be a personal issue for Trump, but rank and file Maga will love this.

When Trump does a thing, he does it for one or more of five simple reasons.

It gets him money.
It gets him praise.
It gets him power.
It gets him laid.
“Fuck you, that’s why.”

It isn’t any more complicated than that. Withdrawing from WHO is mostly the last one.

As Trump, Vance and some of his family were in a church for a sermon, the Right Rev. Mariann Budde, the Episcopal bishop of Washington, gave a sermon that scolded Trump and may have been The Most Uncomfortable Non-Judicial Speech that Trump has had to listen to in a very long time.
