Lithuanians paying respect.

Joe Biden would have been there. Trump 'had other priorities,' in this case dining with Saudi golf execs about a LIV golf tournament at one of his resorts.

Mr 'They Knew What They Signed Up For' can't be bothered to not chase money, sorry not sorry gold star families. Stay classy Cadet Bonespurs.

Biden would have absolutely been there, and MAGAs would have found a random picture of him looking at his watch and calling him a POS for obviously not wanting to be there.

I guess Trump's rigged golf tourny at Mar-A-Lago was more important to him, and the MAGAs are fine with that I'm sure.

He's not only the biggest liar, but the biggest disgrace.

Lithuanians paying respect, notice the 1st word. But me criticizing Trump for this will enrage the MAGAs and they'll tell me I should leave the country if I hate America so much.

Like some @ commented: "Historians are going to have better records from the 19th century than the 21st, is my most medievalist futurist prediction."
Yeah... those magnetic tapes have longer retention than 'digital records' if they're on actual hardware, unless they're backed up.

In all likelihood someone spent 10m to save 1m and ended up with a worse/more fiddly backup/recovery/verification model.

Don't forget the possibility that this permanent modern digital record may be associated with an ongoing cost that someone Herr Musk knows makes money from.

Pod Save America had a great interview with author Michael Lewis. He made the great point that Trump seems intent on destroying trust wherever he finds it.

Lewis is the author of Liar’s Poker, Moneyball, and his latest, Who is Government, with a few co-authors, which is what he was talking about here, profiles of the ordinary government workers like those that are being doged.

A Man who puts on makeup and sits in front of a TV camera for a living says that computer monitors and being in the presence of lawyers “gives you estrogen”.

I swear these “alpha male” types are the most insecure motherfuckers on the planet.

I’d bet money he begs his wife to bend him over and ravage him with a strap-on.

If all y’alls ain’t reading the executive orders directly, you need to start doing so. Trump’s new order on coal is Mao level delusional central planning. His orders on power plants and the grid are federal power grabs on par with Fugitive Slave Act for the depth of interference with state and local affairs and are devoid of statutory authority.

Not one utility is going to purchase a new coal burning unit. Not a single one. Even if solar panels from Vietnam are tariffed at 47% its still cheaper just to buy those and they won't be a stranded asset when Trump is gone. Complete fantasy land stuff.

Buy an expensive capital asset that lasts 30+ years and lasts through unknown economic and political policy swings or just wait till Trump dies, given that he is 78....

Is there any explanation to Trump's "beautiful" coal obsession (he also mentioned it when talking about Germany a few days ago)? Why would anyone want that? Is it just part of his obsession of bringing back old stuff?
