Oral Sex is it Sex?

I checked dictionary.com and found this as the 2nd definition under "sexual intercourse"
#2 Sexual union between humans involving genital contact other than vaginal penetration by the penis.

So using the term "sexual intercouse" to refer to penile/vaginal intercourse doesnt necessarily work.
really the definition for sexual intercouse is about as broad as the definition for sex.

Ultimately I appreciate all the varied opinions, and hope everyone else has. I also hope that the risks of STD's did not get lost in the semantics.

I say you don't lose your innosence (sp check) so I said no. Even though the term oral sex does have sex in it.

Bull Fvcking Sh!t. Lose your innocence? Dude, if you're a chick and you're blowing some dude or if you're a guy and going down on some chick you aren't innocent.

i agree. sure it's semantics......but as a girl, once you've had a guy's dick in your mouth you've pretty much given up all virginal qualities. i mean, it's rather silly for a girl to go around saying she's never had sex before and she's still a virgin, yet has given head to half a dozen guys.

or if you're a girl, and a guy has gone down on you.......it seems silly to still call yourself a virgin.
honestly, i believe intercourse is the only way i consider a girl's virginity gone. the hymen has to be broken for her to lose her virginity.

So what about the guys virginity?
How about anal sex?

To me, virginity is innocence from any kind of sexual activity. That means when you give/receive manual, oral, anal or vaginal sex you've lost your virginity.

The HS cheerleader who's blown the football team might never have had vaginal intercourse, but she's no virgin.

What about masturbation?

If you lost your virginity from masturbating there would be no male virgins and few female ones above the age of 14.

Oral sex. Sex.

Fishing pole. Pole.

There are lots of kinds of poles. Fishing poles are a kind of pole; they're still poles.

There are lots of kinds of sex. Oral sex is a kind of sex; it's still sex.

then Bill Clinton *DID* have sex... with that woman... Monica Lewinsky.
he lied and while under oath.

Well supposedly he never had intercourse so did he really had sex with her? I mean the cigar thingy wasn't really sex was it. He did lie by saying he didn't have sexual relation but he didn't have sex with her did he? :disgust:
Ladies and gentlemen, our former president.

If some young man was trying to get a daughter of mine to do that, by telling her it was not considered sex....

he would never eat with his own fvking teeth again and would spend the rest of his life as a gimp.

If a woman ever tried to 'threaten me' and tried to knock my teeth out I'd give her some of that equality she's always wanted and punch her in the face like any other person.

Get real.

But no one isn't going to say it isn't a form of sex, anyone that says it isn't is ludicris. When you're touching someones genitals what else could it be?

I have to sympathize though, most parents feel the same when it comes to there kids. Sex or not we don't want our children engaging in it casually.

Are your daughters dumb enough to not know what oral sex is, and they can't decide on their own whether they want to do it without having their mom beat up their boyfriends?

That's what I'm trying to figure out, if his applied logic would mean that practically nobody is a virgin.

Is your daughter that naive, or are you just that over-protective?

I believe it's a form of sexual interaction, but I don't believe any virginity is lost by giving/receiving. Virginity relates to intercourse.

I think that Oral sex is a Sexual Act whereas sex is sex.
Most people would probably agree that giving/recieving oral sex doesn't mean u lost ur virginity.

I completely agree with the "blowing the football team" analogy. I don't see how it can be any different.

An extreme example regarding the hymen: can you still call someone a virgin that has had anal sex a dozen times for a set of porno films, as long as the hymen is not broken? Sounds a bit silly if you ask me.
