nice price, I have the black one.
The only bad thing is that it is picky with the DVD media that it can use, but nice drive.

What Brands/Media are you having problems with?

I've used several types of Memorex, Verbatim and TDK 4x +R with no issues..... Currently using the Verbatim that I bought three 15 piece spindles from OfficeMax (buy 2, get 1 free)...they're silver with minimal dark-red printing.

Sorry I can't be more specific.

My $.02

I've only used Memorex and the Ritek G04 or whatever...no problems there :) I did have some issues with DVD X Copy so i've been sticking with DVDShrink + Nero...which i actually like better

to the people having problem using dvdxcopy and the optorite dd0203 burner, 3-2-1 studio's released an update for DVDXCopy Platinum and Express that adds support for both this burner and the Plextor 708 (8x dual format burner). The new version build is: 3.2.0. The build also fixes a few other bugs and quirks. dvdshrink is a good program, but just giving people a heads up on this one also.
