I just installed the trial version of Photoshop CS 2 and I?m finding that it is running a little sluggish.
I had Photoshop CS on before and it would run ok for my needs.
I had a 1.3 MHz AMD machine with 396 Megs of ram.
After installing Photoshop CS 2 I found that I really had to close all extra programs to save a much memory as possible to use with it.
I went ahead and added a 512 stick of ram to the system and now I have 768 of ram, this has improved the performance but still somewhat sluggish and running both Photoshop and the new Adobe Bridge makes it more sluggish.
I have also moved the primary scratch disk to my secondary drive.
Do you think this is the best it will get without actually just upgrading the entire system?
