Options for sharing mobile device video with family and friends

I notice that when I receive videos from friends it looks like crap and probably has something to do with how large of a file size mobile devices can send. I know email has a limit of 20mb and cell carriers have a couple mb limit. With mobile devices camera getting improved the size has got larger with 1080p and higher megapixel pictures.

Now I know Youtube is the most popular but I have loaded videos on there before and seen them get yanked. Now those videos obviously had some sort of copyright thing going on but the new videos will mostly be videos of my baby. Plus Youtube has changed so much I'm just curious what other options I have.
