Only two guys I know with Opt.Online are computer-illiterate though, which supports the claim of um.. whatever bigot said they're all idiots 😛 I have Verizon DSL but may soon be moving to cable... 10/1 >>>>>>>> 1.5/.384... and never listen to PowerMac4Ever, he's an idiot even compared to other children his age - which is really saying something, considering most 9-year-olds are beyond stupid.

I wish my cable was that fast, adelphia powerlink in my area is around 1mibt down and 128up, with packet loss and downtime.

WRU comcast/cox/OOL 🙁

That's pretty lame. It should not be an ISPs job to determine what a paying customer accesses. What's next, they take away our pr0n!?!

They may take away our warez, but they'll never take our pornographyyyyyy. - William Wallace

really i never noticed... then again i dont use supranova

they throttled me though 🙁 thats what i get when i let my neighbors that live below me in my wireless network blah... (my wireless is not wide open... i let them on it)

kick them off.....freeloaders!!!!

or limit their connection to 56k speeds!!

It might be temporary.

I've spoken with some people in the know and they tell me a lot of these cable companies are testing their networks to see how much traffic goes down when they block these sites. It could be they are testing that and may go about it in another way after evaluating their results.

OOL sucks. Period. In all my time on the internet, I have NEVER once encountered an OOL member with an IQ

Don't bother looking in the mirror, you are not going to find one there either.

I have no problem accessing supernova

Who cares if their customer care sucks? I've used OOL for more than 2 yrs. Haven't had a single connection outage (I did have some outage due to my wireless router problems). I dont need to call them.

shhh there are no others! They've blocked them all already.

Blocked them all? you must be kidding.
Yes I'm a joke. err. After reading the dslreports.com thread, it seems it's a backbone issue... just happens that OOL uses it.

I notice that at work i can't access suprnova.org also which was working last week.

Suprnova.org has always at least load it up at work, we can't download since ports are blocked but at least you could browse.

Our Network at work is setup by Lightpath which is a cablevision company which owns Optimum Online.
