$16.94 * 5 = $84.70 - $10 off $50 = $74.70 - $7 - $5 MIRs = $62.70

If you qualified for five rebates, that would be ($7 + $5) * 5 = $60, in which case the deal would be $14.70 AR, but unless you are sending to five different addresses you probably couldn't do this. I couldn't find any restrictions on the rebate form, so YMMV.

If there was a $15 off $75 coupon you could get an extra five bucks off this deal.

"One rebate per name/family/address" on the Rebate Mail-In Form - would have been a great deal. These are perfect on my Norcent DP300.

Of course, isn't $5 for a 10-pk a hot deal anyway? $5 Rebate + $7 Rebate

Ouch! momentary dead brain :p

I have changed it to 20 discs for $14.92.

Edit: I forgot about the shipping cost since the order would be under $50, so this would not be a good.

You could also add $15.30 worthy of FAR item(s) then use a $20 off $100 coupon making the final total $52.70

The $7 rebate also states "Offer not valid with any other rebate, offers or promotions." Really could have used more blanks!

Almost All rebate says that, it really does matter, I have send in lots of double rebate like this and none were ever rejected because of that. Plus each rebate has a different offer number.

Yes they will, I always send copies and keep the original receipt, unless the rebate form says no copies of the receipt will be accepted.

The Manufacturer the Optimum brand is Khypermedia, the speed is not mention on the Staples web site, but I would think that it 2.4x for the DVD+R discs and 2x for the DVD-R discs.

You could get DVD media for about $1 per disk elsewhere. Why bother with rebates and the inherent risk?

I don't think you can do both the $5 and the $7 rebate. What's the ClickChoice thing next to the $7 one?

If you are just buying one 10 pack you can send in a copy of the UPC code with the $5 rebate and when or if it's rejected you just call up the rebate center and tell them that there was 2 rebate on the Optimum DVD discs so you had to send in a copy of the UPC code with one of them. I have done this about 10 times and have gotten my rebate approve every time.
If you are buying more than one there's on problem because each rebate offer has a different offer numbers and go to different departments.

ClickChoice let's you choose to receive a check or one of the other item instead of the check.

I don't see the speed listed on the website, but going from the picture you are right.

I'm in for 3 10/packs.

I'll try and submit the rebates on all and see how far I can get...

It would be better if I could get different receipts and I'll use family members mailing addresses. Do you guys think they have this at the staples store? I only want like 2 or 3 packs anyway.

If you buy the discs in the store you will receive a rebate receipts for each 10 pack you buy, but don't use your business rewards card because the rewards card # will be printed on the rebate receipts.
