optimized seti@home client for Linux

I recently switched full time over to Linux, and so I've been looking for an optimized client I can use for seti@home. I'm running 32 bit linux on an Athlon 64. Do any exist? The only one I found finished most WUs in <10 seconds, which certainly isn't good.

And while we're at it, I also run rosetta@home. Are there any optimized clients for this? Or do they only exist for seti@home.

Thanks!

There are no optimized clients for Rosetta, neither for Windows nor for Linux.

As far as SETI & Linux is concerned, sorry, no idea.

(=hidden bump 😉)

Wow, I can't believe I missed that. I remember checking that site. Thanks Crazee!

Thanks, BlackMountainCow, I kinda suspected that. Is there a reason they're only made for seti@home, or is it just that everyone who knows how to do it happens to be running seti@home?

One reason surely is available man power.

But Einstein@Home for example incoorporated all the optimized clients around into their official one and got a bog speed up through that.

Other than that, some devs say that they can't optimize too much because it'll mess with their returned results and roundings. No idea, though, if that's true or not. Somehow I can't believe that SSE3 rounds any different than SSE2 or MMX. I know some CPU round differently, though.
