optimize startup programs?

some of my startup programs, particularly Kaspersky AV take a minute or more to load up after I log in to my PC. Is there a way to speed this up or optimize how these things load?
 
Although this post is about Kaspersky but on the link provided by Rottie I have got some tip about updating Lan but what if have already assigned this I.P to my terminal?
