Best Buy is nuts when it comes to warrenty. I went with a family member to pick a damn computer and the sales-rep asked us if we wanted the warrenty about 20 or 30 times. After 10 minutes I wanted to beat the sh*t out of him, I had to resort to looking at the floor and clenching my fists in my pockets. There return service sucks so thats why they push people so hard to buy a frikin service plan. I can't even remember how many times I've heard "Are you sure you dont want the service plan with that, blah blah blah, this and that" ...... "NO I DONT WANT THE F*CKIN SERVICE PLAN, I WANT TO BUY THIS CD AND NOTHING ELSE, CHRIST, WHAT THE HELL IS RONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!"

Since ~95% of the extended warrantys are never used it's pure profit for BB

The poor kids just get reamed in the @ss to sell them, they dont get anything. Only the managers on up get a bonus and prizes for PSP sales

Had my optical mouse and used VERY HEALILY for almost 2 years now. Was thinking lately how much longer I would get.

Logitech Optical mouse going on 3 years now...Microsoft Intellimouse Optical going on 5 months now

not a single problem with either mouse.

I've had my logitech optical for almost a year and it hasnt given me one problem yet. I love that mouse

bestBuy is full of crap. I bought a $10 playstation controller (made by madcatz, not sony) and they wanted to sell me a replacement plan for it.

/me kisses his mouse

12+ Logitech optical mouseman

/me spits on all the MS meece in this thread *ptooie*

2 Years plus a couple months for mine.

I don't have the explorer though. It looks like a standard Intellimouse only it has the eye. It might have been one of the first they started mass selling / marketing.

No problems.. I would never go back to standard ball mice.

Regarding MS replacing broken stuff...

I have a Sidewinder Racing wheel. It was not being seen by either of my computers after working flawlessly for 2 months. I was beyong the point of being able to return it especially since I sent a rebate in so I had to cut up the box.

I called MS on it, no hold time at all. They tried a couple things, and decided it was a lost cause. They mailed me out a new one via Overnight Delivery. The same lady called back the next day to inform me that the order was processed, and had another suggestion to get it working while I waited for the new one. It worked. I asked her what now, do I keep the wheel when it comes.. I mentioned that I would like to keep it since this one might go again. She said sure. I asked if I would have to mail the old one back, and she said no.

So basically, I have two working wheels now. I called on Tuesday night, and had the wheel delivered early Thursday.

i bought a logitech optical mouseman the week it came out (on sale at beast buy for $39, everywhere else was $49). had to wait about a month after having seen that the optical wheelmouse had come out before the mouseman was out.
