We have the same MB and I am about to put stuff in mine. I noticed you have your memory in both green slots. My intepretation of the manual told me that you needed to put it in the green and purple slot side by side. Will either populations give dual channel?

This has been perplexing me greatly and I am sure it's more clear than I preceive it to be.

That's a good question because I could not get my Memory to run dual channel mabey I should go try that.

Ah ok, good info. I saw a picture of this MB in a Maxiumum PC article and that's how they had it, the memory in the green and purple slots closest to the processor, side by side. Let me know if that gives you dual channel.
