will all my normal software i use for my comp be compatible with duel opterons? out of curiosity, will there be any software incompatibilities with any windows xp compatible programs?
 
I'm pretty sure they are compatable with everything 64 and 32bit... though I could be wrong. That would be one very nice system.
 
Anyone who spells "duel opterons" gets me worried... perhaps you are not the type of user who would be able to take advantage of that kind of power.

Consider an Athlon 64 3x00 instead, you may be happier with it.
 
Will they be compatible? lol...


- P4's had a bug recently with Oracle
- IA32e Has bugs in the new Prescott

X86-64 is THE most compatible platform.
