Opteron 146s come in all the steppings 148s come in. The only saving grace you have with this statement is the first steppings were the best and since the 148 costs more, less people have bought them, so a 148 is more likely to be a better stepping, but that's not a guaranteed fact.

And single core socket 939 Opterons ONLY come with the Venus core so it's redundant to state 'venus' everytime.

How'd you know I was thirteen? Either way, your 'spoiled' statement is not true seeing as though every single penny being spent on this system is coming from myself. I worked all summer and sold all of my paintball gear for this machine.
