Opteron 939 165 and C2D E4500. Which one for web server and which for database?

I know the C2D will be faster, so I'm trying to figure out which task the 939 Opteron will offer the least margin of decreased performance in. The web server will be running Tomcat and Cold Fusion and the DB server will be MySQL.

Large DB needs more computing power than Web Server.
