Also limited to 100 uses. Probably used up 50 today. The deal is already around 3 different forums now, just like the 165 deal yesterday.

back in november, it was RUMORED to be discontinued, whatever that means. My source never said it was discontinued back in november.

anyway, take it with a grain of salt. These internet do-gooders who are out to prove the world wrong one internet post at a time wont hush up until it is out of stock everywhere and AMD releases a press release saying 165 = gone.

I never said it was you or your source back in November that started the rumor. But thats when the rumors of AMD discontinuing the 165 began. At least thats when I first heard of it. I forget who started it although to me it doesnt matter because it was just a rumor. I even said back then it wouldnt suprise me if AMD did it. To me its still a rumor until it actually happens and to my knowledge it hasnt happened yet because no one that sells the chips has claimed it to be so nor has AMD publicly said it is so. As far as rumors go thats all they are until its proven true. So far it hasnt been proven one way or another and to me, your word on it doesnt mean anything since you back it up with nothing other than 'Take my word for it'. You could very well be correct and truthful but until its proven true its still a rumor in my eyes.

I should also point out I dont really care about Opty 165s and wether they are here to stay or going away. I personally have no interest in them myself although I can see the value of them to many people. To me its really a moot point about the 165.
