Have my 165 doing 2.6GHz (289x9) and will pass any of the stability tests I throw at it. Dual Prime95 stable for 12+hrs, passes OCCT, stable through multiple passes of 3DMark 05. Temps hover at 46C under load, 1.40 vCore using an XP120 and Panoflo 86cfm.

Now the weird part... Loading games and other programs is slow as molasses. Asus Probe acts flaky on bootup, have to kill it & restart it for it to act right. It seems like some games & programs it just burns right through, and other just drag. I'm stumped. My 3DMark 05's are in the low 11,000's.

I haven't seen the 'fast-forward' issue I've heard about with dual-cores in any of my games, but I'm wondering if it's some other kind of issue I'm not aware of.

Anyone have any clues?

Note: I'll be away from the house till after midnight, I'll respond to any comments then. Thanks.

All Hail The Great Rob Zombie and Lacuna Coil... Just got back from the Detroit date on their tour.

OK.. svsnow - Thanks for the advice on the X@ drivers and MS hotfix. Is the hotfix something that would automatically d/l if automatic updates is turned on? I'll defragment tonight before I hit the bed, and the ran speed is 236MHz @ 2.5-3-3-8-1T and Memtest86+ stable for 10+ hrs.

BassBomb - I have tried a little more voltage, but with the same results. Doesn't get worse, gets slightly hotter (not quite to 50C), but doesn't get any better either. Since it's showing as completely stable from the standpoint of Memtest86+, Dual instances of Prime95, and OCCT, I honestly can't see where more voltage would be beneficial. If there's something I should be reading into that, please elaborate for me.

Thanks,
