Opteron 146

Anyone else have this issue? Mine only like 2T on my nf4U board, even though my Venice had no problem with it.

I have a cabbage edition, so others with that revision feel free to chime in 😉

hmm. have you tried running 2 x 512's instead of 4. you shouldn't be able to run 1T with 4 x 512's.

Hell, I tried it with 2*256's of BH-5, still blue screened whenever I tried to use everest benchmark, 3dMark, or Prime. I am quite aware that 4 sticks of anything == 2T only 😉

2T immeadiately solved the issue without touching other timings or voltage.

i have the same kind of problem, but thats only when i try for any thing past 2.9ghz 3.0 only works with 2t and a mem divider, so i would rather just keep 2.9 and call it good

or drop to 2T and tighten timings and up frequency.

Nope... my 146 does it even at stock speeds, everything else untouched. The bios updates available mention nothing about better memory compatibility, just fixing some sempron issues. It identifies my opteron just fine (7/28/05 bios).
