Are they finally coming down in price?

After the announcement that production of these is going to continue, prices are falling.......what a bunch of hype "ending production" was.........

Was tempted to drop $190 on the 144, this was hard to pass by. Going to give the Asrock board a try, want to hang onto my 6800U a little longer.

hi
i was considering getting a 3500+ venice, but this seems like a great price. how would this opteron compare? i think i read somewhere that opterons need special registered memory? sorry if the questions sound noobish, i am a noob.

Socket 939 opterons do not need registered memory. The socket 940's used for servers and workstations do need registered memory.

Now 9 phone calls deep. First couple charges were declined. Credit card company thought it was fraud. Cleared that up and told Mwave to reprocess, they didnt. Call to get it processed again, then get an email saying shipping address is not on cc, found out cc company removed it even though I just added it a couple months back. All this and it will probably be out of stock.

My order shipped!!!
