congrats on your 0608.
just rev the fsb up to 300 and start playing with the voltages. start slowly. the 0608 can hit 2.7 easy with almost stock voltage. i got mine to 2.83 with 1.425, still have more, but htt restricting me. some have known to hit 3ghz of course on water cooling. I just ordered another one last week, hoping to get another 0608. cant wait.

I got that exact same stepping about two weeks ago. Highest I've gone with it is 2790 @ 1.45v. Highest on stock voltage was 2655. My current usage is 2600 @ 1.28v but I'm not sure if it's 24 hour dual prime stable yet. This is on a Scythe Ninja cooler.

I currently have the CPU stable at 2.7ghz@1.425 (300FSB * 9) but the temperature seems a little high (66C). I'm using a Thermalright XP-90 HSF and system temperature is around 36C/96F. I'll probably end up keeping the CPU at 2.6ghz to keep the temps under 60C.

This is KILLING ME. I want to upgrade so badly from my mobile Athlon setup (my paths always find me looking into crazy OCing deals, oh how I love). But that means new mobo, video card, and I'm already looking into investing a hefty amount into the 2007WFP when a decent coupon comes around.

But the price on the 146 is cutting me so deeply. Why do I even come here? WHY ANANDTECH, WHY!? 🙁

I wonder why the temp is so high. I have mine running at 2.7 on stock fan and volts with temps around 25c.

🙂 60 days I think for the standard Monarch oem warranty. All I could afford was the 146 for $143.

Conroe is going to expensive though...
It wont' fall to the price of $300 for a while and ofcourse I wouldn't know the duration it takes for the Conroe to drop in price.
