Opteron 144 939 box 138.5 shipped

i havn't seen anything below a 2.4ghz and that's with a cabge... I believe the cabge have been sold out since. The new steppings are CAB2E or CAYBE 0540~0545

called me two days later to tell me they didn't have this in stock and refunded me my money.

good luck to everyone who gets on this. hopefully they have this in stock. when i ordered it was $145 so its a good chance they have it now.

Where do you see Boxed and includes shipping?
Looks like OEM, and shipping added after you place your order.
I want to order one, but seems odd that original poster mentions things that do not show, unless original poster is perhaps from the company?

ResellerRatings don't look too good.
 

Very interesting. Seems like it would be hard for me to justify the extra $80+ for the 148. Even if the end result is that I can't get it up beyond 2.4 Ghz, it might still be a great deal. (I suppose I'd put the $80+ saved towards a future upgrade.)

Only one kicker...what is the shipping charge?

Cracks me up that original poster has a link to his auctions that state:
2) Shipping is the buyers responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Yet he states in this thread that shipping is included!!!
I'm sure it's just a simple mistake (like Boxed) 😉

If it is legit, it is good.
But it does not look reputable.
Anyone that wants credit card info "before" they tell you shipped price, is a place to question.

Anyone brave enough to give them credit card info yet, to see what shipping charges are?

Monarch shows a "True" boxed version shipped for $150.
If the one above is OEM, Monarch is a much better deal (warranty + HSF).

Rob, the one you linked to is socket 940, not 939.

How did you determine that?
You can't tell by the packing box in photo, as boxes are not actual used with item, just a representation.
