Yes. I was pointing to the fact that it's an alternative expression of the same thought, in a different cultural setting.

Although I don't know, I would guess that it's likely that same thought could also be found in other teachings throughout the world...say bushmen in Africa, aboriginals in Oz, etc. Truth.

It's more like, you reap what you sow, greater than what you sow, and later than you sow (as according to the Bible). You do a little bit of good, it goes a long way- same thing for doing evil.

I don't like the way practical or rational advice is dressed up or hidden among the metaphysical mumbo jumbo. I thought Oprah was better than this. she needs to get Doctor Phil back for a few episodes.

the point of the article is that it's NOT common sense; it's a lot of nice sounding crap, pseudo-intellectual BS that has no basis in reality.
