Crucial sent pc1600 ddr ram instead of 2100. I have a thunderbird 1.ghz/266. It is running fine now. Should I send this stuff back. This is for another person and I do not want stability problems. Thanks again

definetly send it back, make sure you've got some kind of proof saying that you ordered pc2100 and not pc1600 though.

If you ordered PC2100 and they sent you PC1600 I would send it back. I'm sure they will cover your shipping for their mistake. They are great to deal with.

I am looking for the original form that I printed out on the internet. I figure they have a 30 day money back offer so I could just order some more and send this back when it gets here. Anyone ever had to get a refund from them?

Yep. I accidently ordered the wrong kind of memory once.. even admitted it to them... informed them that the box was open but not the static. They easily sent me out what I meant to order and credited me back what I returned.

My screw up and they helped me anyways.. although It was still within 5 days of receiving it.

Hell no, send it back. You ordered 2100 so you should get 2100, 1600 is slower anyways.
