Opinions wanted on a shirt design

I just recently started a new job with a company that deals with conceal carry handgun training, amongst other things. We are looking to start a line of clothing that (ideally) people will like and wear.

This is the first design. I personally have some concerns about a couple of things on it, but I'd like to get your opinions. The picture I'm posting is what's going on the back of the shirt, on the front of the shirt is just a small log.

Needs more wolves, three to be precise.


It looks good. Will the thin lines reproduce and wear well on t-shirt material? Also, will the metallic gleams reproduce?
 
Plan on doing much business with 14-17 year old inner city youths?

The guns are not screaming "concealed carry" to me. More like, "Shoot everyone."
 
lol, that is hilarious.

way too busy, has nothing to do with concealed carry. I would NEVER wear that.

I would also change group to training or center or something more professional. Maybe get rid of the guns and the background bs too
 
Fair enough. I do personally think the shirt design is a bit to ... big? I think it needs to be a little more subtle. Some other critiques is of the shield/blue line stuff in the background. A lot of people think it's to busy.


Something I wanted to get rid of and I'm curious on your opinions on this. I think it's tacky as hell to have our website on the shirt. I don't think people will buy and especially wear it then. Thoughts?

This shirt is about advertising. Why the fuck would anyone want to wear a shirt of a random company, especially as retarded as equip 2 conceal? I think you should have the url on there.

Get rid of the guns, the lines, the shield and you may have a shirt your customers would buy. I see no reason for anyone else not related to the company to buy it.

btw, I'm a huge gun fan. with guns, fairly plain and simple is pretty much how I like it.

I appreciate the feedback. The shirt is about advertising... but ideally not in an overt way. I'd like people to actually like/want to wear the shirts. I think that if people see a URL on them they will see it as advertising and not want to wear it.

isn't putting the company name on it advertising anyway?

For instance, my dad is into hunting and he always hates that companies like Cabelas and Gander Mountain put their name on their clothes. Not just tags, but actual logos and stuff right on the front.

It is. But wouldn't your dad hate it more if gander mountain put their website on there? It's advertising, but hopefully a bit less in your face.

Think about it though. Everyone puts their name on their apparel. Under Armour, Nike, American Eagle, Pepsi... everyone. I can't recall a time when I've seen a shirt with a url on it, outside of when it was given away for free and people were it as pajamas.

Well the issue there is everyone knows Nike, Pepsi, etc. No one knows equip2conceal

Well, he doesn't really wear t-shirts much so he doesn't have many clothes with logos or names on them and I think because it's a retail store and not the manufacturer that he doesn't like.
 
The problem is, many people, like myself, who do carry concealed do so almost 100% of the time. I'm not wearing a shirt advertising that I am carrying a weapon. The 'gun' aspect of this shirt should be seriously toned down if not removed, I know it seems counter-intuitive but anyone who isn't a mall ninja isn't going to wear that.
 
I'd make the logo MUCH more subtle, and abstract. Use something that alludes to concealment, but doesn't show guns at all.

Ok, I was thinking the same thing. It looks a bit 'gangsta' to me.
