honestly, it has nothign over other integrated chipsets in terms of offering the features required for a HTPC....that is, NO 3d.
u can get other mATX boards based on non-nvidia chipsets that have integrated LAN, video w/ s-video/composite out, and 6 channel audio...
i'm currently using a nforce board (asus a7n266-vm) in a bookpc case - it runs fine using winxp & sp1, but honestly, it doesn't feel as responsive as my old 700mhz classic athlon on an asus k7m board (amd 751)....the processor i'm currently using is a duron 1.1ghz w/ 256mb pc2100.
when i hit the start button it often sits there for a second and then finally pops up the menu....i'm using the latest nforce drivers (and i've tried the latest provided by Asus - they're slightly older - same thing happens)...i also don't like the way the 4.1/5.1 has to be configured...using the avance audio drivers on other mobos proved to be better, IMO.
all in all, it'll make a good HTPC, but so will other solutions out there, some for maybe even less...
