Hi guys
opinions/reviews invited regarding the usage of Antec TruePower True430 for Athlon 1800? I am using a K7S5A!

Thanks

More than enough power. You could probably run any non-overclocked PIV with that, as well as most oc'ed PIV's.

I have an Antec True 480 running my dual AMD rig; it is quiet and supplies plenty of power. A True 430 should be plenty for a single Athlon 1800 plus add-ons.
I also have an Antec PP412X running an overclocked P4 rig with no problems there either, except I had to change out the "smart fan" for a single speed, quiet Panaflo because of the noise factor.
Good luck.

I've been using an old Antec 403 with various AMD rigs (A7V333 and XP2000+ and a A7V133 with 1.2 - 1.4 GHZ T-bird before that, etc) for over two years now. It's more than enough and continues to kick out good power. I have a true 550w. in my P4 rig right now. works just fine. I have a couple of friends with Topowers also. They seem to like them as well.

I have an Antec PP303X (300w) running an overclocked P4 at 2.4GHz. The 430 should be overkill for your system.
