You can always terminate your tmobile account and pay the ETF fee.
Then sign as a new customer and get the Vibrant for .01 ?? at Amazon.

Wow, i just picked up my Vibrant and am in love. This thing is near perfect (no flash and weak gps). It may very well replace my ipod for music.

Why? Is the flex account a pay as you go account?
Signing up for a 2 year contract and paying more per month in services is retarded, when you can purchase the phone from t-mo and do their 0% financing. So you can pay it off when you want, and still use the lower priced plan. Think about it. Lower priced plan or higher priced plan with same features. They aren't giving you a free phone, they are just already including the cost of the phone in your plan AND sticking you in a 2 year commitment.

There are "fixes" for the GPS issue on the web.

OK, Mr know it all.
Let me break it down to you.

- So the lowest plan with data+text is $60 for no contract.
The regular price is $80. Difference of $20 per month.
That adds up to $480 for 24 months.
-Buying the Vibrant outright from Tmobile cost $500.
-Buying it with contract from Amazon cost .01 + the $480 difference is still $480.
A saving of $20 still.

However most everyone can get a 15% discount off the regular plan(You can not get a discount off the Even more plus plan).
$80 x 15% = $68.
$12 x 24 months = $288.
It is now $212 cheaper than buying the phone outright.
Yes, Im retarded to save $212 over 2 years.
