Opinions on this TV

Sears has a closeout deal on the JVC AV56P575. Was contemplating getting it. Anyone have any info on whether its a good TV or not?

If it was a really sooper dooper great fantastic TV do you think they would be closing it out and not carrying it any more?

well, its just a regular CRT based projection TV. The market for those seems to really be drying up as people want DLP/LCD/Plasma more now. I had a crt projection tv a long time ago and probably wouldn't want to get another one, just don't look as good as the other technologies, which is why they aren't very popular or stocked as much anymore. If its $1k or less it might be a good buy, but over that I think I'd rather just spend the extra and get a DLP instead.
