Opinions on this TV i'm buying for my father

i did a google search on the model # and and read up on avs forums. I read LG used to make panels for insignia but now samsung does? whatever it is HD content looks phenomenal on this $500 tv. This LED tv is so much nice then the 37"Phillips 720p set we have. HD HBO looks wonderful.

just want to update everyone. a week later the tv is still great. blueray looks amazing and at the price i paid for the tv. i feel like its a steal.

would recommend to anyone. if you can get it for $500 grab it.
