Opinions on the Pioneer Elite SC-05

Hi all. I am in the market for a new reciever so I can hook everything up through HDMI and also to get 7.1 and the new hi def audio formats. So far, I think the SC-05 looks pretty good. It is at online for about 800 bucks, and I can get it local from a Pioneer Authorized dealer for about 1000 out the door, so I can get the two year mfg warranty.

Cool.

I was really close to getting one of those, but decided to get a refurbished Onkyo 876 instead for a bit cheaper.

Ok, got it all hooked up and so far so good. First off this thing is not really easy to set up. I have everything hooked into it and I can get video, but the remote sucks. I can't figure out how to program it so I can change the channels on the DTV with the AVR remote so I don't have to use a separate clicker for volume and channel changing, which blows. The good news is the thing sounds f'n great. Ever, brace yourself, my WIFE noticed a difference..... a big one she said. She said it is like being in a movie theater.
