Opinions on the Dell Latitude D400 laptop?

I might be getting one of these in a trade. I'm not too much against the 12" screen as it wouldn't be my main machine, the rest of the specs are quite good. Does anyone have any experience with this model they they could comment on?

It is a pretty good laptop, a bit small, but robust.

We have many of these at work, but most of us like the d600 better (larger screen).

Very good chassis, nice screen, if it comes with the A,B,G card in it, the wireless is very good. Battery life may be my only complaint.

What's the real battery life while using the wireless? Or at least a general estimate?

Also, do you know what that case is made of?

All new lapops of my company are D400. Besides the small screen, all are good. The real battery life is around 3.5 hours assuming you set to the maximum battery life in WinXP Power Options.
