What you guys think about this cooler ? Should I trust it for medium overclocking (ie. Thunderbird 800@900-950mhz)?

I know the other options (taisol, the orbs, thewatchamacalits 😉). Just need feedback on this particular item.

I'd like to know too.

that's available around me for cheap, and I want one that's quiet.

a chrome orb would be next.

AMD recommends it for up to a 1.2ghz bird so I figure o/c'ing an 850 to 1ghz should be fine?

I use them on builds and they do a great job of cooling @ a very low cost.

I think coolermaster use YS Tech fans for their heatsinks. The coolermaster fan I had was from YS tech. I usually find YS Tech fans not to be so quiet as other fans. My Alpha cooler is also already having a hard time to cool my Thunderbird @ 950Mhz so I think you should rather look for a different cooler than the coolermaster one.

BTW, I am Afrikaans and LMAO! 😀

Well, it's rated for T-birds up to 1.1 Gig , but personally I would want a little something
more if OC'ing a T-bird. The Cooler Masters are OK for Durons up to about 950Mhz or so, but not much more.(my Cooler Master/Duron 600 system will not run totally stable at 950 unless I use a small 8" table fan blowing into my case, at the processor)
