So my system draws 595 watts, and its a folding rig, so it runs full power all the time. I have a Seasonic 850 watt platinum PSU I am considering putting in it. That 70% load all the time. Think its enough ?

I think a good quality PSU like a Seasonic would have no issues running at a constant 70% load. I know some people will tout the "50% rule", but that's more a personal preference than fact. Most PSUs are usually most efficient in the 40% - 70% range. I'd just check for dust build-up every few months, and blow it out as necessary.

Now if you running a PSU like this (Ooh, it's so shiny!) I'd say no ;)

I believe I've read somewhere that beyond god Gold rated PSU, it will be safe to be operated up to 90% load for 24/7 operation. But I couldn't find the article so take this with a spoonful of salt.

Anyways, most Seasonic platinum PSUs have a 10-12 year warranty. If it dies early, send that bad boy in for another one!
