opinions on Monarch Computers

They have the 2500 mobile barton for sale at $89 shipped (5-7 days ground) as opposed to Newegg's $96.01 shipped (2-3 business days seems to be the norm time to me from them).

There are not alot of reviews I have found for this company, and not alot of issues on the Georgia BBB website for this company.

Anyone have comments?

They're a great company, sure not the best prices or shipping (like newegg of zipzoomfly) but they're a reliable alternate source. A representative of their company (MonarchJoe) frequents AT forums and will often help you out. He upgraded my shipping to 2 day from 5-6 day ground to get out my board. Granted I paid 30 bucks more than retail since I had preordered it, but that's not their fault. Great customer service on their part.

Monarch's a great company!

In all honesty, if you have any questions, etc, feel free to ask me. I'm not on here as much as I used to be, I've been assisting with my production department of late. I do try to check anand at least once a day, or you can always email me at joef@monarchcomputer.com

Same here. I've only had good experiences with them.

Monarch Gets a big :thumbsup: from me. I ordered an A64 and used a GC, after a bit of confusion I got a very helpful sales-rep that took care of things and even bumped up my shipping because of the delay.

Been to their store a few times. Bought an AMD 2600 last year and they gave me an AMD sun visor for the car (which IIRC I gave to Fausto) and some AMD stickers...nice guys, good shop.

I didn't exactly have the greatest experience with them a few years back (this may have improved) I ordered an aiw radeon and mobo/cpu combo, the mobo/cpu was fine but the radeon came with the aiw 128 cd and cables (only one cable was different.)

I had previously asked before placing the order if all of the accessories came included, and was told that they did.

After numerous phone calls/emails with no responses I did eventually recieve a cable but it was the purple box, and not the actual cable that I needed. I sent another email mentioning this, and never heard anything else. I called it a loss and just went directly and paid ~$30 for the correct cable and cd.

I used to go there all the time to buy AMD chips (their strongpoint) and we didn't get to meet.

The retail store is a great place to actually look at cases, we have quite a few setup. Plus, you can't beat the free MS Pac-man stand-up machine in there.

It is going to have to be put on hold since my secondary HD failed.

No warning what so ever. BIOS can't see it etc.
