I just found out what a barbell complex is, and needless to say i will be incorporating into my next cardio day. Ive been burned out on traditional cardio for quite a while, and this might be just what i need to spark some more weight loss. Ya i want to get stronger, everyone does, but weight loss is still the priority.

Im working through some upper body nicks right now so my weight days look like:
Monday-Legs
Wednesday-Upper body
Friday- legs

Legs - squat, leg press, leg ext., calf raise, 20 min walk. Ive been spending quite a while doing squats, i do no weight, then bar, then slowly work up to the work sets and do 5.

Upper - Bench, OH press, decline bench, rows, the few chinups i can do, and decline situps

I think i can replace my tues/thurs/sat with these barbell complexes. Ive seen two variations, one where you do one exercise for X reps, then the next exercise for X reps...and so on until you're finished. The other method has one exercise for one rep, then to the next exercise for one rep, and so on until you do X reps on each exercise. Any opinions on which exercises synergy the best. Ive seen deadlift to rows to OH press to back squat and lunges in there somewhere.

I too am burned out on traditional cardio. I'm going to start flipping tractor tires instead.

Or you could look for m100's on youtube.

Google "bear complex." Fun.
i did it this morning. I did the bar just to get my feet wet, then i went to 95. It broke me down. I did 3 sets of 5 cycles or whatever the terminology is. It was fun though, and im going to add it to my routine for good.

With that weight i figured i could knock it out, but there's just something about it that smokes you. Heart, breathing, its something like a 100 yard dash feeling when you're done, but it is different. The grip goes alot faster than i thought as well.
