My old rig needed some upgrading, so this is what Ive done. All from newegg:

AMD64 3000 Venice $139
Asusrock 939 Dual Sata2 It has an AGP and a PCIe slot (I use a 9800 pro so needed the AGP for now, but PCIe for the future) $68
4x Corsair Value Select 512mb PC3200 $42 per total $168

Then I got this case. I wanted something spacey but also with decent cooling since I plan on overclocking the CPU.

I've already got an antec 400watt PSU, 9800 pro radeon, 120/20gb HD's LiteonDVD burner and then some generic CD-rom.

All in all, I think it looks pretty nice. Just wanted to make sure im not missing something? Or there are any things I should be aware of.

This will be my first time fully assembling a computer from scratch, Im not to worried but I don't wanna screw anything up to badly.

Try to get 2x1GB instead of 4x512MB. That will allow you to run at a 1T command rate instad of 2T.

Whoops, to late for that. How big of a difference is that going to make? There was a considerable difference for a gig stick compared to 2x512

when you upgrade, get the DFI Xpress 200 Crossfire motherboard. it is the only board that can run 4x512 in 1T.

Everything looks good, but I'd go with the 2x1Gb sticks, as long as the price isnt much different it would be worth it

Ya I probably could have done the 2x1gb, but to late now. Not the end of the world, I don't plan on doing a LOT of high end gaming anyway. Coming from 512mb RD ram with a 1.7ghz p4, I think this 2 gigs of ram will be a huge difference for me.
