Opinions About MS Networking Products?

I am considering going wireless as my D-Link router seems to be acting up. Does anyone have experience with Microsoft's products? Pros and Cons? Any links to other sites with reviews?

what dlink router do you have? i have the microsoft wifi network card. it's awesome. no problems. only thing is that you can't type in the name of the access point you want. you have to select it from a list. which means you have to broadcast your ap.

I'm not home right now, but I think the D-Link is the 604. I have seen other posts where people have had problems with it. Comcast thinks the firewall may be causing me problems. I get intermittent freezes when I'm on the net, but the cable modem seems to be communicating with Comcast just fine. If I have to buy another router, I thought I might try wireless. Staples has the MS stuff on sale this week. Any thoughts?

i have heard good things. at least the people on the Hot Deals forums were going nuts over the deal. i think it was one of the kits or something for like $80. on a side note, just to let you know, you can't turn off broadcasting the SSID yet on the router. don't know if that really affects you. but they seem to be really good. working on some firmware recently i think. also you've got the latest firmware for the 604?
